As a partner, we can source, vet and present candidates on a continual basis, with the specific skill sets required for each position. We design our service programs to work with both small and large organizations and specialize in high volume projects and events. An effective staffing program reduces the time and labour of our clients and allows them to focus on their core business. A few additional benefits with out staffing programs are:
Health & Safety Training - All Local Staffing employees are certified for “Workplace Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps”, “Workplace Hazard Material Information System” & “AODA & Accessibility”. We can also provide additional onboarding/training material provided by our clients on request.
Reference & Background Checks - We ask all of our candidates to provide employment references to verify their previous work experience. All references are contacted and info is added to their file. If a criminal or financial record check is requested, we conduct those through a third party provider.
Personal Protective Equipment - With most of our positions in the industrial sector, we review the required PPE for each job we recruit for. When a position requires PPE, we educate each job seeker of what is required and keep a supply of common safety gear on-hand.
For the term of the placement, the assignment employees are employees of Local Staffing. Depending on what position they are hired for, all associated work, shifts and supervision is the responsibility of the client. If the client wants to hire a candidate directly onto their payroll anytime during the placement period, we have a conversion program that works for every scenario.

Temporary to Permanent:
When looking to streamline your hiring process, using a contracting program may work best for you. Local Staffing will source, present and deploy qualified candidates to fulfill your staffing needs. After completing a pre-set evaluation term, the assignment employees can be hired directly on to your team. When an “Assignment Employee” stands out from the crowd, employers can speed up the hiring process by request.
Term or Seasonal:
For employers who operate a business that is primarily seasonal or who experience peak periods throughout the year, you could consider finding the right staffing partner. Local Staffing works with a variety of clients throughout the Ottawa Valley designing, and then implementing, an effective and efficient recruitment program to fulfill your employment needs. Project Labour:
If there are times when your business suddenly needs to increase its workforce for a short to medium period-of-time, we have the experience to make that happen.
