Industrial Painter - Must Have Car

Our client, located in Vars, is looking for an industrial painter to join their team. They are a pipe fabrication facility looking for someone to join their growing team. listed below, are some of the duties related to the position.

This position requires the use of a respirator, so all interested candidates must remain clean shaven.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay:

  • $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply coatings and finishes to a variety of surfaces using spray guns and other specialized equipment.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or priming, ensuring smooth and durable finishes.

  • Follow safety guidelines, protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Inspect finished work for defects and rework as necessary to meet quality standards.

  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project timelines, material needs, and work progress.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.

  • Knowledge of industrial painting techniques, including spray painting and working with various types of coatings (epoxies, enamels, etc.).

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, climbing).

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the proper handling of hazardous materials.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
