DZ Driver

We are hiring experienced DZ Licensed Drivers to work with our logistics client in the south end of Ottawa. The ideal candidate is one with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and exceptional customer service skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Full Time

Pay:

  • $24.00 - $25.00/hour depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating a "D" Class truck to complete deliveries

  • Moving, unpacking, assembling and/or installing high value equipment

  • Communicating professionally and politely with customers and dispatch

  • Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

  • Unwavering attention and adherence to safe working procedures

  • Maintaining an organized and clean environment

  • Performing other general duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Valid DZ class driver's license, a clean driver's abstract, clean CVOR, and a clean criminal background check

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a DZ license

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities

  • Quality focused and dedication to providing superior customer service

  • Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis

  • Provide your own CSA-approved steel toe boots
