MIG Welder

We are seeking experienced MIG Welders for our busy client in the South End. This is a full-time position in a friendly team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shifts

  • Full time - 40 hours per week

Pay:

  • $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for MIG welding

  • Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers

  • Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations

  • Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts

  • Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment

Job Requirements:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repair of piping systems and metal structures

  • Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements

  • Oversee the training and mentoring of new and trainee TIG welders

  • Perform MIG welding on materials such as fiberglass, iron, plastic, and copper

  • Conduct radiographic and bend tests to verify the quality of weld

  • Requirements:

  • Pre-employment tests: To complete the hiring process for this role you will be required to preform a welding test
