We are looking for an experienced chem tech to join our waste management client in the south end of Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and vocational experience. Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay:

  • $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sample collection and testing

  • Data recording and reporting

  • GCMS,GC and ICP understanding

  • Perform quality control

  • Categorize waste streams

  • Safety and waste disposal

  • Process Optimization

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of industry

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma in a science field

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

  • Attention to detail

  • Minimum if 5 years working with ICP, GC and GCM
