Construction Labourer

We are looking for reliable and experienced Construction Labourers to join our awesome client in Ottawa's south end for restoration work at job sites throughout the city. Opportunities with this client include fire & smoke remediation, water mitigation, asbestos abatement, climate control, mold remediation, media blasting, bio/trauma scene clean-up, and content processing.

The candidate must be willing to work on call as needed. You will need you own vehicle to drive to the location.

Work Schedule:

• Variable - 30 to 60 hours per week.

• Monday - Friday

• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay:

• $20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, licenses and site premiums.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in dusty and dirty environment for extended periods of time

• Complete paperwork accurately and on-time

• Loading and unloading of materials and equipment

• Job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work with your hands

• G2 Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract

• Be willing and able to get Canadian Government Security Clearance

• Have a reliable vehicle

• Provide your own CSA-approved steel toe boots

• Willingness to work in a variety of environmental conditions (dusty/dirty, indoors/ outdoors, hot/ cold)

• Be willing to wear a respirator for certain tasks

• Ability to work for extended periods of time

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Have problem-solving and organizational skills
